Neck stretch

Hey everyone, Dr. Alibhai here. I want to share a stretch I do almost every day to relieve tightness in the neck and shoulders. To stretch the left side of your neck, take your right hand and place it on your collarbone. Find that collarbone and wrap your fingers just over the top of your shoulder to pull down on your collarbone.
While pulling down, look up and away. Take a deep breath in during this movement. Breathe out as you feel the stretch. You might notice tightness as you look up and away; continue to breathe out and observe the area opening up. With each deep breath in and out, explore the tightness, adjust your head to different angles where you feel the tension, and use your breath to help release it.
Experiment with various angles, like looking upwards in different directions to find where it feels particularly tight. Listen to your body’s signals of tightness and work on releasing it. Try this stretch for 90 seconds on each side every day.
